In addition to having starred in the Dahvi Waller-created miniseries, Blanchett acted as executive producer alongside Waller, Francini, Stacey Sher ( Reno 911! ) and Captain Marvel filmmakers Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden. The nine-episode series debuted in April on Hulu under the FX on Hulu label and received rave reviews from critics, currently maintaining a 95 percent “Certified Fresh” rating on review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes.
“ We are excited to continue working with John (Landgraf), Eric (Schrier), Gina and the entire brilliant team at FX, ” the Dirty Films partners said in a joint statement. “T hrough our collaboration on ‘Mrs. America,’ we’ve experienced firsthand their enthusiasm for robust conversations, and their unwavering support for bold and ambitious entertainment. ”
